..Nicki Minaj is officially a SINGLE LADY - and she all but ANNOUNCED it this morning on Instagram.

According to a person close to Nicki, the HOTTEST FEMALE RAPPER IN HISTORY spent the last week trying to work things out with Meek, inside his Philadelphia mansion. The insider explained, "It's not about love - cause Nicki LOVES MEEK TO DEATH. But there's a lot going on right now. So they're taking a break."
We're told that Nicki has officially ENDED the engagement, and is NO LONGER wearing her engagement ring - even though Meek never asked for it back.
